ECT is pleased to welcome ECT alum Helen Knudsen, director of ECT's 2020 production of Newsies, along with technical director Ryan Lasko and student director/ECT alum Laney Toffler.

The story, in the words of our director, Helen Knudsen:

This is a simple story about a girl who did something to change everything.

Virtual theatre doesn’t quite hold a candle to live theatre...but it still brings us together as a community and allows us to share a story together.

In this time of disconnect, loneliness, and uncertainty, E.B. White’s Charlotte’s Web reminds us that joy, friendship, and satisfaction can be found within the most unlikely of circumstances.

This wonderful little play about life, death, and everything in between is for all ages and walks of life…just like theatre.

In the words of a small grey spider, we hope to “lift up your life a trifle.
