Improv Skills CampGet ready to think on your feet!
This camp is full of fast-paced, improvisational, creative games and exercises that will enhance performance and teamwork skills. Students will practice responding calmly, creatively, and quickly to a variety of unexpected situations. This camp is a great opportunity for actors who want to develop skills in preparation for the 2024-2025 theatre season as well as students who have never tried improvisational theatre. ECT instructor Tim Soszko will lead you through this experience and give you a chance to show off your improv skills!!! |
Musical Theatre Intensive: Learning from the ClassicsIs your incoming 3rd-6th grader ready to jump into acting, singing and dancing?
This class will offer firsthand experience in the fundamentals of musical theatre. The class will be taught by performer/writer Michael Potsic the week of June 10th, and Mimi Black the week of June 17th. With their years of performance experience and knowledge, each will guide students as they build the technique, the drive, and the confidence that is necessary to be successful in musical theatre. Students will focus on skill-building in acting, singing, and dancing. The class will culminate in a final showcase that displays all of their hard work. |
Dance Intensive - Killing It at the Callback and on StageThis fun, summer intensive taught by Nina Davalos is for students who are new to dance or theater, and for those who want to brush up on their technique. Through ballet, jazz, and tap dance styles, students will learn an array of techniques used in theatrical performances and gain experience working in an ensemble. Daily, students can expect a warm up, including stretches and light core strengthening, cool combos, and fun games.
Students will need comfortable clothes that they can move and stay cool in, and jazz shoes and/or flexible-soled tennis shoes. Tap shoes not required. |
Musical-In-A-Week: Broadway Highlights in the RoundJuly 8-12: Highlights from You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown
July 15-19: Highlights from Disney's Hercules Be part of an innovative and unique summer theatre experience! Each week will feature a hit musical. Mornings are dedicated to core acting and singing technique and in the afternoons, we create a show together with songs and scenes from the hit musical of the week. With a script catered around the talents of the cast, every actor gets their starring moment. ON FRIDAY, we will perform the show "In the Round" for friends and family. |
